If you’re a little rusty on history
Deutsche Welle online has an interactive history feature that’s easy to use and fact acquisition-friendly, so to speak, for those of us with the attention span of toddlers. Date range is from 480 BC to 2002 (“A trip through time to Europe’s origins” 2009).
A subtitle is “We Europeans – how we became who we are.” A bit narrow, it seems to me. After all, Europe’s history is also the history of those who founded the USA, you only need to backtrack a few centuries to those old, old, old ancestors.
